FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ed Bennett of St. Louis Community College receives a $300 check from Sandy Schulz, president of Home-Based Women Entrepreneurs at the Small Business Week Breakfast May 5.  The scholarship will enable an aspiring businesswomen to attend the Women's Entrepreneur Training Program offered by St. Louis Community College.  The program has been offered twice a year by the college for the past 17 years, and boasts 1,300 graduates.  HBWE co-sponsored the breakfast, one of several events marking Small Business Week.  HBWE promotes the success and self-developmentment of home-based and sole proprietor women entrepreneurs in a stimulating and supportive environment.  More information about the organization is available at www.hbwe.org .
